Each day I got a new email. Some days I had to think about why I was doing this. I often thought what does all of this have to do with weight lose? But each message suggested a subtle change. By the end of the first month I had drilled into me Mindful Eating and stop when you’re 80% full. Not bad habits to adopt.
Ok, I’m game for two more months.
Lo and behold, by the time we got to the third month I realized I was learning a lot and had been since day one. Small changes each day got me more mindful as to what I thought about food, my misconceptions about carbs and the idea that to lose weight you have to deprive yourself. Lean protein at every meal, five fruits and/or vegetables each day and a healthy carb with each meal. WOW.
While I haven’t lost all the weight I want yet, partly as a result of my massive travel schedule and a husband who likes to eat out every day; I realize I am only 4 months into the year long program. I am getting smarter. I’m learning to make small changes and best of all I’m getting educated as to what are healthy foods.
So thanks for helping me get my advanced degree in healthy eating – I’m signing up for another two months. Worth every penny!”
