“I first met with Tim four years ago after someone recommended that I see him for help with functional training and movement. I will confess I am a generally skeptical and self-reliant person, so I was pleasantly surprised that during our first session he diagnosed some of my dysfunctional movement patterns and came up with a plan for how we were going to correct them. Tim has a great eye for movement and technique, and if I don’t do something correctly he will let me know about it. In my experience this is critical, because faulty movement patterns or technique breakdowns can lead to injury and otherwise suboptimal performance. Tim is also excellent at developing training programs to help me accomplish my goals. Over the last several years we have taken my training in many different directions, all based on my goals and desires in conjunction with his program design. Last year we worked on heavier weights with a goal of deadlifting 300 lbs, and I ended up doing better than that. This year we have focused more on conditioning and endurance, and I am skiing and running better than I have in years.
