Custom Kinetics believes that better health and fitness starts with learning how to move your body correctly. We constantly evaluate each client for proper movement and teach our clients to optimize their movement patterns. Proper movement mechanics help to alleviate pain, optimize performance, and alter body composition. Proper human movement is at the center of our training philosophy and it is the foundation on which all other aspects of fitness are built.
Our mission is to bring unsurpassed personal training to our clients. We execute this through outstanding customer service, results focused and movement based one-on-one training, and education. We teach our clients as well as other personal trainers about proper fitness and exercise techniques.
Geoff has been a personal trainer in the northern Virginia area for over 13 years and has helped a variety of people to reach their health and fitness goals. His training career started at James Madison University where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, Athletic Training.
Tim is focused on movement of the human body in its natural form, which led him to launch a career in 2002 as a fitness professional. Tim’s passion for fitness commenced as a young competitive athlete and continued throughout his adulthood and he started his own business in 2007.
Lauren Day has been a certified personal trainer and nutrition and wellness consultant for 11 years. She started her career in Arlington, Virginia spent close to a decade running her own fitness training and consulting business in New York City and has now returned to Northern Virginia full time.
Jim finds enjoyment in powerlifting competitions and keeping himself healthy overall. With three kids running around, he is grateful to be able to chase after them and continue playing ball in local softball leagues. For the past five years, Jim has been training small groups and one on one clients.
